You've been trying to explain all that to people? That's a lot of information, but it's totally cool. Where'd you find it? Thank you for sharing with all of us!
My favorite bit is the one that explains the percentage ratios for a film's production. Too many folks think the rising cost of a movie ticket is because Actors demand so much money. Not so.
I also liked the last part. People kept complaining that Avatar cost so much money to make, and yet they forget that a good chunk of that $238 mil went to paying people, not wherever else they believe it goes. It's not called the film industry just for kicks and giggles. It is indeed an industry.
I found it interesting that the top grossing movies are PG-13 or PG. So if you want to make money make a movie that most or all audiences can watch.
